Hotel Grand Opening Ceremony
The Apache Gold Casino Resort held its anticipated hotel grand opening ceremony Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11am. We were blessed with perfect weather and it was such an honor for the organization to host this ceremony for our tribal leaders, dignitaries, and members of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. We also got to enjoy this special moment with our local community members and of course our loyal guests. The ceremony opened with an invocation by Leroy Kenton, Traditional Apache Medicine Man followed by an Apache Honor Song rendered by Manuel Cooley. We were blessed with special remarks by San Carlos Apache Tribal Chairman, Terry Rambler, San Carlos Apache Tribal Gaming Enterprise Chairman of the Board, Myron Moses and San Carlos Apache Tribal Gaming Enterprise CEO, Matt Olin. We also had added remarks by the President of Pimmex Construction Corp Carlos Munoz, which oversaw the project and the Director of Hospitality, Jonell Robertson. The ceremony ended with closing prayer by Kaitlyn Dillon, Miss San Carlos Apache 2021-2022.
Following the official ribbon cutting, the festivities featured delicious food and tours of the new hotel and the beautiful rooms that are filled with some of the newest amenities.
The Hotel renovation encompasses 146 rooms, interior hallways, lobby, hotel management offices, and the inclusion of sliding entrance doors.
